Specimen plant. One of the most sophisticated and elegant palm plantings in the southwest. Highly sought after by landscape designers. Makes picturesque clumps from offshoots.

Multi-trunked small tree or large shrub with moderate growth rate. Gracefully curving trunks that reach a height of 20 to 30 feet. Spread of 15 to 25 feet.

Showy bark. Has no thorns. Feather-like fronds, medium green. White to yellow showy flowers appear in summer.

Small insignificant orange fruit follows. Resists breakage.

Offshoots can be removed to make single-trunked tree. Fertilize for fast growth.
