Suited to poolside and patio plantings. Try as an informal hedge. Also works well near buildings or foundation plantings. Can serve as backdrop for accent plants and flowers.

Color accent. Dense evergreen shrub, small to medium. Grows to 3 ft.

Narrow, opposite leaves, dark green, oval.

Two-inch flaring, bell-shaped flowers, white to rose pink with deeper pink veining. Best as a container plant if needs to be sheltered during frosty weather. Propagation by seed.
