Mounding perennial evergreen shrub. 2ft, spread 3ft.

Narrow pointed leaves, 1 1/2in long, gray- or blue-green.

Rounded flower clusters in late winter and spring; yellow at first aging to green or tan.

Good for winter color, specimen or container plant.

Native to drier parts of the Mediterranean, this is an ideal plant for the rock garden. The pink tinged stems, set with narrow blue-green leaves are at first erect but then lax as the heads of yellow flowers open in spring.
